All I have a real problem and I would really appreciate your help in getting it resolved. Since upgrading my iMac and an Macbook Air to Yosemite 10.10 and Office for Mac 2011 to 14.4.5, Outlook refuses to connect with our corporate Exchange 2010 Server (prior to upgrading everything worked.

Go into Address Book and open the Preferences. There's a checkbox 'Synchronize with Exchange' that you need to check. It will then appear automatically in iSync.

thank you, thank you, thank you,
this fixed my problem with my phone not wanting to sync the addresses. no matter what I changed in the AB nothing on the phone changed.
It must be a problem that Apple is having because there a bunch more people that I found with the same problem on different boards. The solution I had used before was exporting my whole address book, deleting the address database and re-importing the vcards. this is way easier.

Thank you, you have saved my sanity! I was having this same problem with Entourage 2004 (IMAP to a non-WebDAV Exchange 2000), a Nokia 3650, and the new e2Sync iSync plugin. It started after I installed the demo of e2Sync: iSync insisted on deleting all of my contacts on every device but (in my case) Entourage. And there it duplicated them endlessly!
I was sad that this otherwise wonderful program, e2Sync, might have somehow caused this seemingly intractable problem. However, following your advice to delete the nnn folder's contents solved the problem and now e2Sync and everything else is playing nicely...I have one copy of each contact everywhere!
